On Sunday January 9th the first of the final episodes of the second half of the final season (jesus fucking christ) of the widely popular anime Attack on Titan premieres and the fanbase is excited to see what the new episodes will hold for them.
Attack on Titan, or Shingeki no Kyojin if you want to be that one annoying friend, is a incredibly popular anime based on the manga by Hajime Isayama. While the manga has ended and the nerds who read it already know how it ends, us Chad anime watchers still have many things to look forward to in the upcoming episodes. There are many questions that still linger after the last episode came out. Will Eren’s plan come to fruition? Did Levi survive his explosive encounter with Zeke? Will people stop yelling EREN YEAGER in the movie theaters? Why come the titans have no dicks?
One big new change to the anime that was not in the manga originally is the introduction of the new E-Girl Titan. The decision, while controversial, was a move by the anime studio to appeal to the “cool fucking hip tiktok kids” and bring in more viewers. The E-Girl titan joins an assemble of titans with powerful abilities and she doesn’t come empty handed. Her abilities include coming up with new dances, acting depressed when she really isn’t, and the ability to change her hair color every few days. Most importantly, the E-Girl Titan’s new SIMP ability allows her to make any male titan follow her while they complain that the only reason she has so many followers is because she’s a girl.
